Indigenous Culture Sharing on the North Coast at Chah-pekw ‘O-ket’-oh Visitor Center

Chah-pekw ‘O-Ket’-Oh Visitor Center is a collaboration between California State Parks and the Yurok Tribe and is a place for Yurok people to revitalize and share our culture, worldviews, language, etc. This is the first California State Parks Visitor Center that is managed by a Tribe, and it is possible through a Joint Powers Authority agreement.

Join Yurok Tribal member and California State Parks Interpreter Kese McQuillen, where she will share stories, lessons, lifeways, and cultural history about Yurok ancestry in a 45-minute virtual program!
